Tit Tar is a healing system for the treatment of bone, joint and muscle misalignment. Today, it is utilized to heal body traumas caused by everyday physical exertions, accidents and sports activities.
The legend goes that since the warlord Cho Chou frequently sustained injuries in the battlefield, with his infinite wisdom Master Wah Toh devised a method for quick and effective healing. Therefore his lord could then commence battle within a matter of hours!
Tit Tar therefore is generally considered to many as the brainchild of Master Wah Toh and during the ancient times of the Han Dynasty ruling period, Tit Tar was widely practiced for injuries from the battlefield. Tit Tar was also commonly used to heal injuries related to martial arts such as Kung Fu.
Tit Tar utilizes the arts of acupressure, which is an ancient science that deals with the flow of Qi (pronounced chee), or natural energy. By using the fingers to manipulate the flow of Qi in and around an injured joint, acupressure can release muscular tension, promote the circulation of blood, relieve pain and enable deep body relaxation. This speeds up recovery and strengthens the body's resistance to disease.
The core belief of traditional Chinese medicine philosophy is that the body is equipped with its own mechanisms to fight illness and cure itself. Hence, Tit Tar will accelerate the harmonious and natural self-healing functions of the body - not 'war' with it!
